So here we are at the start of 2015. Yes I realize that it's the end of January but I have had a busy month with two sick kids and then myself getting sick. So that being said let's pretend it's the beginning of the year.
So this is the start of a new year and as my loyal readers know I spent the last two years dealing with the loss of my second child and then the conception, pregnancy and birth of my third child. As a result of the turmoil of the last 2 years I haven't been as focused on this blog as I would like. So this is my goal for this new year, to be much more focused on this blog, to post a minimum of once a week, to revisit old topics that I wrote about when Bug was Sweetbaby's age. I want to really capture our gardening this year, step by step. Due to being late in my pregnancy at planting season last year, our garden took a back seat.
Basically I want to find new and exciting topics to write about, as well as document my journey with now 2 beautiful amazing kids. So ... onto 2015!!!
I started this blog 9 years ago. I knew I wanted to be a Green Mom. Now a decade later I have realized motherhood is much more. Am I still the Green Mommy? Yes, but our lives are much bigger than that and I want to write about more than that. So welcome to The New Green Mommy.

A Moment of Love
If I could sum up Attachment Parenting, kangaroo care, breastfeeding, cosleeping, and just plain motherly love in one picture... it would be this one. At almost 8 months, River is still going strong with breastfeeding. Last night her teething was causing her pain so we laid skin to skin and nursed. I snapped a simple pic that so perfectly captured that moment. My sweet girl nursing sleepily. So beautiful.
